Change Simulator used by JDesigner

This short tutorial describes how to change the Simulator used by JDesigner for time-course simulations, metabolic control analysis and steady state computations.

Available Simulators are Jarnac and RoadRunner.

In order to change the simulator first open the JDesigner Preference dialog, which can be found under File\Preferences:

Once the Dialog is open simply select the Simulator of your choice.

If after selecting a different simulator you still experience problems, please restart JDesigner.

Whenever you experience trouble while analyzing a model it might be a good idea to try a different simulator.
